blooming, actually the blooming bedrijvengroep b.v., consists of the hotel with group accommodation, estate Het Hof, also located in Bergen, Restaurant Zandhoeve, located in blooming hotel and Soul Beach beach pavilion. We always write blooming with a lowercase 'b' because we see it as a verb. And officially, there is no dot on the 'i,' but we like to add it together with our guests.

The blooming Group of Companies has a special shareholder: blooming Foundation. The shareholder’s articles of association stipulate that a portion of the company’s profits is given back to our community and the region through the blooming Foundation. The foundation’s board determines which social and educational projects will receive the funds. This way, we contribute to a fair, sustainable, and socially responsible society. blooming collaborates with Scorlewald, an anthroposophical care institution where people with disabilities live and work.

The Hoftuin of blooming Landgoed Het Hof is another outdoor location of Scorlewald. Employees from Scorlewald cultivate vegetables, fruit, and flowers in the Hoftuin. These products are then used and processed in dishes by blooming hotel and Het Hof.To enable the shareholder to fulfill its special tasks, the blooming companies must be profitable. However, this commercial objective also encompasses another purpose: blooming aims to make a social and societal contribution and work towards a sustainable future in almost every way. For example, procurement, energy supply, waste management, personnel policies, and the choice of suppliers are all guided by this philosophy. In other words, blooming is also constantly growing and blooming itself. We are blooming.

Lost and found
It can happen that you accidentally leave something behind at blooming. Naturally, we do everything we can to return forgotten belongings to you as soon as possible. To organize this properly, we kindly request you to send an email to welcome@weareblooming.com with a full description. Based on this email, we will inform you whether the belongings have been found and how we will return the items to you. All found items are kept for three months. After this period, we donate the found items to a thrift store.
