Our yoga instructor invites you to a professional yoga session. No experience is needed, everyone is welcome! Each session lasts 60 minutes, and we provide the yoga mats.

Do you want to learn something new, get moving, learn to collaborate, do something good, or just relax? At blooming, you can do it all. On the first floor of the hotel is the 16-meter long and 1.40-meter deep swimming pool. The pool has a constant temperature of 30 degrees and is equipped with massage jets. After swimming laps in the pool, take a moment to relax in the jacuzzi.
In need of relaxation and personal attention? At our massagesalon you can enjoy wonderful massages. At blooming massages we work with 100% honest and essential oils from our local supplier De Groene Linde in Heiloo. You can book a massage by phone, email or directly at the Front Office.
In our wellness area you will also find the saunas. We have a Finnish sauna set at a cash temperature of 85 degrees. In addition, there is also an Infrared sauna with a temperature of around 40 degrees. Of course, there is also a refreshing rain shower and there are changing rooms with lockers.
Directly adjacent to the indoor pool, we have a beautiful sun terrace where you can lounge in the sun most of the day. Wonderfully private and overlooking the forest. Don’t forget to bring a nice towel to lay down on one of the lounge chairs.
On the hotel corridors, in the lobby, in the restaurant … in fact everywhere you will find beautiful, fun, informative or child-friendly books that you can enjoy borrowing from us. Take a book with you to your room, to the terrace or on the road. That’s what they are there for!

Under the guidance of professional yoga teacher Edith Bakker, you will enjoy three days of various yoga classes and relaxation moments. In addition, as a guest of blooming hotel, you can use all the facilities of the hotel.
Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a beginner, our classes are suitable for all levels and will leave you refreshed and recharged.

The Museum Room is an overview of blooming from the past to the present. Come and see, listen, and enjoy the beautiful stories that our history brings with it. The Museum Room is open every day from 07:00 to 23:00 and is free to access. You will find the museum room opposite the reception, next to the main entrance of blooming hotel.
At Het Hof, we organize cultural events with a (h)onest dinner; the film dinner, the art dinner, and the Hoftuin dinner. The perfect night out for foodies, culture enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to experience the culinary skills of Het Hof and the Hoftuin.
Sowing, composting, harvesting, raking, mowing, pruning, hoeing, maintaining the forest, and shelling beans. Whether it’s summer or winter, there’s always something to do in Bergen’s most beautiful garden. In the Hoftuin, residents of Scorlewald, a care facility for people with disabilities in the job market, work. They sow, harvest, rake, mow, prune, hoe, and shell beans here. This way, they provide fresh products daily for the blooming kitchens.
The collection of Museum Kranenburgh consists largely of artworks by artists from the ‘Bergen School’. But the doors of Kranenburgh are also wide open for contemporary art, photography, architecture, poetry, and music.
Cinebergen is a cinema located in a historical monument: the former sawmill ‘De Zwarte Schuur,’ situated on the wooded estate of Het Hof at Eeuwigelaan in Bergen.
In the renovated and expanded Sea Aquarium, you can see more than 300 different fish species thematically: let yourself be carried away through the Amazon jungle past piranhas and creepy reptiles, through the Atlantic Ocean, tropical waters, and the Mediterranean Sea to the North Sea, and discover the most fantastic fish and exciting marine animals!

The ruin in the center of the village is worth visiting for anyone who loves culture and history. As early as the eleventh century, there was a simple chapel in the present village center of Bergen, which was replaced shortly thereafter by a stone church. In the 15th century, a large village church in Gothic style arose but shortly thereafter, in February 1574, the building was destroyed by fire. A thorough restoration in the 1950s gave the building its current appearance. Start your visit to Bergen at the Ruined Church in the city center.

With more than 60 kilometers of hiking trails, you can’t escape it. If you come to Bergen then you go hiking. Through the dense forest, get a breath of fresh air on the beach, climb the highest dunes or look for miles across the vast landscape. Directly from your hotel room you can follow one of the fun routes of the North Holland Walking Network. These routes go through nature, through the center of Bergen and all the way to the center of Alkmaar where you can do a nice city walk.
By bike, you’ll get farther and get to special places. Whether you cycle electric, on a mountain bike or cozy on a tandem, with more than 65 kilometers of cycling routes, every cycling enthusiast can fully enjoy Bergen’s beautiful cycling environment. Bring your own bikes or easily rent them from our partner.
The surroundings of blooming and Bergen are perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet and a lover of yoga. Several times a year we organize a unique yoga weekend. But you can also participate on your own initiative in various yoga classes in the area.
Your stay at blooming hotel cannot miss a visit to the beach. Want to make your beach day a little more active? At Bergen aan Zee beach you have the opportunity to rent surfboards and SUP boards. New to this sport on the water? Then take a lesson at our partner on the beach.
Are you coming to blooming hotel with the whole family? Then book one of our family rooms or lofts. We have rooms with bunk beds, extra beds and also spacious Lofts for several people.
De Vrijbuiter is a true climbing paradise for the blooming kids, a course of climbing equipment where the kids can have fun. Surrounded by greenery in the forest, yet close to the blooming terraces, it is ideally located for the kids to climb and clamber while the parents enjoy the terrace.
On the first floor we have a real playroom. Kids Room the Drager has a twister game, a big TV, table tennis and a super big chess board (really really big).
There is a panna field, an outdoor playground, a kids room, there are children’s books, a game closet, drawing and craft supplies, a scavenger hunt through the woods. You can rent children’s bikes, splash in the pool, we have children’s bathrobes, rain boots. We serve children’s dishes and there are high chairs. Being bored is really impossible.
