In this fun and accessible workshop, you’ll dive into the basics of kickboxing together, guided by a professional trainer. It’s the perfect way to start the day with energy, enjoy an active break, or finish on a high note. The clinic is not just about movement, it’s about teamwork, pushing boundaries, and most of all: having fun. Suitable for all levels, so everyone can join in!

padel

Padel lessons at TREE11 in Alkmaar are the perfect way to learn this dynamic sport or improve your skills.

The lessons are led by the experienced trainers from IMK Padel & Tennis, known for their personal approach and passion for the game. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, the sessions are tailored to your level. The focus is not only on technique but also on fun, helping you build confidence and steadily improve your game.

mountain biking

Just a stone’s throw from blooming hotel lies one of the most beautiful mountain biking routes in the Netherlands.

With a professional guide, you’ll explore the stunning dunes of Schoorl and Bergen. At the start of the clinic, you’ll get comfortable handling your mountain bike, followed by an exciting ride through the area. Helmet, water bottle, and a bike suited to your height are included. No prior experience required.

drawing workshop: drawing each other

This workshop is creative, educational, lively, and informal. Suitable for all ages and experience levels.

See and draw each other in a new way—with an artist’s eye. Learn to look at one another differently, focusing on details and discovering the beauty in imperfections. The result is a series of lively and highly original sketches of each other.

Inspired by the beautiful forest surrounding blooming.

Learn to loosely capture the beauty of leaves and flowers on paper. Explore drawing and painting with special pencils, practice observing details, and experiment with colors.

sketching tour

During the Sketching Tour, you’ll observe and sketch your surroundings like an artist.

Short walking segments alternate with sketching sessions. You’ll learn to observe closely and sketch quickly, developing not only your drawing skills but also your powers of observation. In case of bad weather, the tour can take place indoors at the hotel. A creative and inspiring workshop experience.

A workshop where you’ll enjoy delicious wine and snacks while learning to draw and paint a sumptuous still life.

In a relaxed and educational setting, you’ll learn to observe closely, build up your drawing, and paint what you see.

cyanotype workshop

A magical process where sunlight, nature, and photography come together to create a tangible work of art.

We work with iron salts, which become light-sensitive when mixed. The paper is treated with this solution and left to dry. At the same time, we explore the forest to collect objects; twigs, leaves, flowers, seeds, sand, anything goes; that we can use to expose onto the prints.

self-portrait photography

In this workshop, we’ll explore the art of creating self-portraits.

We begin with a short introduction to photographers like Cindy Sherman and Francesca Woodman, who use their portraits to express identity and emotion. Then it’s your turn: how do you want to express yourself? Cheerful, melancholic, mysterious? Using props, clothing, or symbols, you can amplify your emotions. Experiment with light, angles, expressions, and poses to create a unique self-portrait. At the end, we present and discuss each other’s work and the stories behind them.

mixology workshop

A professional bartender from Shake Kings will teach you how to shake up the most delicious cocktails yourself.

After a brief introduction to the history of cocktails, the use of bar tools, spirits, and other fun tips, you’ll get hands-on with a carefully curated menu. Serve your cocktail in matching glassware with garnishes and taste your own creation. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails are possible.

poetry workshop

Poetry Workshop with Arij van der Vliet, the village poet of Bergen. Writing from the heart.

Learn to write poetry as the poets of Bergen have done for centuries. In this interactive workshop, you’ll discover the art of crafting poems. Village poet Arij van der Vliet has a unique talent for bringing out the poet in everyone.

chair massage

Treat your team to a “pat on the back” with a relaxing chair massage from Chaja Massage.

A chair massage is an effective way to relieve and prevent stress and work-related complaints. By stimulating blood circulation and increasing oxygen flow to the brain, participants feel refreshed and more resilient after the session. No massage oil is used, and the massage is performed over clothing. Using an ergonomic, mobile massage chair, the massage can be given practically anywhere. Each session lasts approximately 20 minutes per person.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an Eastern medicine-based practice designed to help you feel more vital and energized.

During the workshop, a true Qi Gong master guides you through body and breathing exercises. These are incorporated into themes tailored to situations encountered at work and in daily life. Practicing Qi Gong in nature enhances its benefits. The session lasts approximately one hour. No special clothing or footwear is required, and the lessons are accessible to everyone, of all ages.

The yoga classes are suitable for anyone looking to feel better physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.

You don’t need to be flexible or strong to participate. Yoga helps you build both flexibility and strength. With the right alignment, you can support your body in its natural healing process.

photowalk

During a Photowalk, you consciously slow down, switch off your thoughts, and engage all your senses.

We explore this through two exercises/tasks. Discover how to see your surroundings and everyday objects with fresh eyes, and experience the effect of this new perspective. After the walk, you’ll receive a digital “Afterwalk” within a week, documenting the insights gained by the group and sharing special moments and results from the day.

mindful nature walk

An inspiring walk that awakens all your senses.

The beautiful nature surrounding blooming helps you fully let go of your thoughts and reconnect with your body. In this workshop, you’ll walk completely in the here and now. Meditative, calming, and unhurried, you’ll open all your senses, walk with soft eyes and an inner smile, and recharge fully in the healing power of nature.

duration: 30 minutes to 1,5 hours

guided walks & bike rides

There’s so much to see and experience in the beautiful surroundings of Bergen.

Explore in different ways, guided by nature expert Jos, who knows the area inside out. Enjoy a nature walk or cycling tour through the forests and dunes around blooming hotel, the Het Hof estate, or from the hotel to the beach.

Or rent a bike from our selection, which includes e-bikes, 3-speed city bikes, mountain bikes, and electric mountain bikes.

Please contact us in advance to reserve bikes. We require at least 2 days to secure your reservation.

An expressive, meditative workshop focused on connection with yourself and others.

As an inspiring text on connection resonates, you are invited to create a blindfolded collaborative artwork. Through surrender, touch, and teamwork, a powerful symbol of togetherness emerges. Discover how spontaneity and chance can lead to profound expression and insight.

inner landscape painting workshop

An expressive workshop with life-sized paintings. Get to know yourself and your colleagues.

We often focus on the outside and the world around us, but what is felt within? In this workshop, participants map their inner landscape using paint and chalk. Life-sized self-portraits emerge, centering on the inner emotional world. This provides a safe way to share and reflect on both inner and outer experiences with one another.

the art of nothing workshop

In this workshop, you literally make space for NOTHING.

Experience the power of doing nothing. In our busy world, we often forget how important it is to pause. Moments of stillness are essential for creativity. Our constant drive for productivity leaves little room for unexpected insights and fresh ideas. By consciously creating space for being rather than doing, new perspectives emerge. Doing nothing is not a waste of time—it’s a deliberate choice that can bring valuable insights. Discover why sometimes, nothing is exactly what you need.

mindful wellness walk

The Wellness Walk offers an inspiring journey through nature, helping you relax, gain insight into yourself, and recharge your energy.

The Wellness Walk is a guided 90-minute stroll through the natural surroundings of blooming, focusing on mental calm, self-awareness, and personal wellbeing. Through conversations, exercises, and mindfulness, participants gradually learn to let go, create structure and balance, and gain better control over their thoughts.

The result of this unique walk is a clearer mind, deeper understanding of personal choices and patterns, and renewed energy and focus to approach daily life with joy and resilience.

beach clean-up tournament

It’s time for a clean-up!

The game starts with a short introduction by Love Not Waste, explaining the impact of a cleanup and the rules of the Beach Clean Bingo Game. Teams then set off to collect as much litter as possible using the bingo cards. After 60 minutes, we come together to review the results: how much each team has cleared from their card. We share our findings, weigh the total collection, and discuss the impact of the cleanup.

Finally, it’s time for the award ceremony! The winning team receives the team prize, and we celebrate the overall results with a cheerful group photo and the completed results board.

The entire activity lasts approximately 2 hours, and instructions and guidance can be provided in either Dutch or English.
