While the holidays are often synonymous with hustle and bustle, we choose to celebrate New Year’s with a completely different approach. At blooming, we embrace the calm and the opportunity to escape the year’s hectic pace. We understand that the holidays mean different things to everyone, which is why we offer this tranquil and cozy way to bid farewell to the old year and welcome in the new, without a big party or fireworks—these are prohibited here.
What does the evening look like?
Early dinner: 3-course dinner at Zandhoeve Restaurant. Starting at 5:00 PM so our colleagues can get home early and spend time with their families to close out the year.
Unlimited Dutch doughnuts (!)
For now, the dinners can only be reserved by phone or email.

Around the third weekend in December, the Christmas market takes place in Schoorl. All the shops are open, and they serve mulled wine and hot chocolate. Live music adds to the Christmas atmosphere.
The beach of Bergen is about 6 kilometers from blooming, perfect for a New Year's dive.
in the second weekend of December, there is traditionally a large Christmas market around the Ruïnekerk in Bergen. Here, you can enjoy mulled wine and winter treats and purchase the most delightful (Christmas) trinkets at the cozy stalls.
